We are certified and registered Quantity Surveyors with the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS), specialising in the preparation of Estimated Development Cost (EDC) and Cost Summary Reports for NSW Councils.
Our expertise ensures that we accurately prepare cost estimates in full compliance with NSW planning and council requirements, helping our clients avoid unnecessary fees and contributions.
For many NSW Local Councils, an Estimated Development Cost Report is mandatory once a project's development cost reaches certain thresholds. This report is required for both Development Applications (DA) and Construction Certificates (CC) submissions. It helps the Council determine the project's value and calculate the relevant fees and contributions, as outlined in Planning Circular PS24-002, Sections 6 and 208 of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Regulation 2021, and S7.11 and S7.12 of the Development Contributions Plan 2021.
CPP Quantity Surveyors have extensive experience in preparing these reports. We provide a comprehensive service, including preparing cost estimates based on your DA drawings, creating a detailed cost summary, and completing any forms required by the council. Our reports are certified and bear our signature along with our AIQS credentials.
As AIQS-certified Quantity Surveyors, we ensure that all reports adhere to the specific format and requirements of your council. We only need the latest electronic version of your DA drawings to complete the process. We understand that some projects require a quick turnaround, and we are fully equipped to expedite our service to meet urgent needs.
